Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast journalist. Most famously, she is anchor of CNN's morning program At This Hour. She was also co-anchored CNN morning shows New Day, and The Situation Room. Bolduan has been part of CNN the award-winning news coverage of the 2012 and 2016 presidential elections. Bolduan also worked as a reporter in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan's coverage of congressional events and other events in her time as a member of the Capitol Hill Unit included the negotiations to raise the limit on debt for the United States and debates by the supercommittee. Additionally, she worked as a general-assignment correspondent and reported on topics such as for instance the Christmas Day terrorist attack of 2009, the Supreme Court's decision regarding Obamacare as well as the implementation in 2009 of the stimulus plan.
