Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is an American and Canadian musician and singer. Over 20 albums have been made available by her. DiFranco has released more than 20 albums. Widely considered a feminist icon Grammy award winner Ani DiFranco is considered to be the father of the DIY movement, and was among the first artists to create her own record label in the year 1990. DiFranco was born on September 23, 1970 in the city of Buffalo in New York. She is the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross), who met Dante Americo DiFranco while studying at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her father was Italian origin and her mother was from Montreal.
