Coleman is a Lancashire native. She was educated at Arnold School in Blackpool. She was a headgirl and earned straight A grades for her A-Levels. While discussing her Emmerdale appearance Coleman confessed she was regretting that she did not go to University. Coleman was in High School, was part of a theatrical company called In Yer Space. They performed the play Crystal Clear for the Edinburgh Festival. In addition to being awarded a prize for acting, the production she performed was well received. Coleman was offered the role of Jasmine Thomas while she was performing at drama school. It happened in 2005. Coleman was twice nominated for prizes in the year 2007. Coleman was nominated twice in 2007: Best Newcomer for the British Soap Awards; and most Popular Newcomer at the National Television Awards. In the British Soap Awards of 2009 she received nominations in the categories Best Actress and Sexiest female and Best acting in a Drama. Coleman was awarded a Television Choice Award nomination in the category of Best Actress. Steven Moffat of Doctor Who made it clear at a press meeting held on the 21st of March, 2012, that Coleman would be replacing Karen Gillan after she and Arthur Darvill had left. Moffat chose her for the part because she was the most successful with Smith and was able to speak faster than him. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she has been involved in television and film projects. But, she's more popular for her television projects rather as opposed to films. Eva is well-known for her roles as Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children and detective Natalia Boa Vistas from CSI Miami. The first role she played on TV earned her two Daytime Emmy nominations, and allowed her to develop the love of music in her. Eva is an entrepreneur, as well as an actress. She has been married three times, and has one daughter with her second husband.
