Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been an actor, model and advocate for animal rights in the US. Her name is well-known for movies like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) and The Getaway (1972). New York was her home and she was brought up in an artistic environment. She started as a photography assistant and after that she moved on to modeling and acting. Her two first films were noticed and she received recognition with the Golden Globe Award of Most Newcomer of the Year. MacGraw's film Love Story proved a major hit and fetched her worldwide notoriety, along with several awards including an Academy Award' nomination and the Golden Globe award. Within three years she had been voted as the most popular female box-office starter in the world. Handprints, signatures and footprints were made in 1972 at Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she's appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as in the mini-series on TV The Winds of War. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw married three people.
